About Us

Betley Farms was established in 1943 with 13 milk cows and 40 acres of land, and has since grown to 3,000 milking cows, with expansion plans in progress. The Betley story is marked by success and pride in producing high-quality milk, promoting sustainability in the workplace, and continually envisioning the future of farming and agriculture through innovative technology.

In 2024, we successfully started up our own methane manure digester to produce natural gas for the community, animal bedding for our cows, and an aqua system to return water to the earth to keep our community and water sources clean and safe for generations to come. —showcasing our commitment to sustainable agriculture.

At Betley Family Farms, we are proud to invest in cutting-edge genetics. In 2022, when we remodeled an existing heifer barn to better support our show cattle at all stages. It started with the heifer focus in 2022, milking cattle in 2023, and in 2024, we built an additional milk cow facility along with an IVF lab with Trans Ova Genetics. We now offer donor housing for embryo collection, along with embryo implants, and live calf care from resulting embryo implants.

As a fourth-generation family farm, we offer students opportunities to gain hands-on experience in dairy management, animal genetics, and sustainable farming practices while being part of a collaborative, future-focused team.
